Daniel Bruce Lee is a robot who found his heart. He grew up without a single irrational decision ever made, calculating every moment. He was disconnected from his emotions which disconnected him from humans. So to change his obvious trajectory, instead of pursuing math he went to an art school (Otis College of Art and Design) in order to bridge this gap. There, he found that designing is merely a series of systems that look aesthetically pleasing based on logical rules. After graduating he found relative success at an advertising agency through early promotions and compensations because his designs consistently nailed the clients’ needs.

Still desiring to crack the puzzle of emotional beings, he began to jump off cliffs, summit some of the world’s tallest peaks, trek hundreds of global miles, and skinny dip in alpine lakes. Daniel survived storms on volcanoes and glaciers, gasped under the Aurora Borealis, rode horses through lava fields, visited his ancestral country, and ate some of the most exotic foods, making friends from different continents.

Eventually he found his heart in New Zealand. She was traveling from Singapore, and she was a cartoon character, so full of life and perfectly pure emotion. Seven countries later they are now three years married with two cats, currently backpacking and climbing in Colorado.
